Pearl and Penny

11/12/2022 - Pearl isn’t alone anymore. Welcome Penny (unofficially Penny#2, because Penny#1 was my copilot when I drove from Columbus, OH to San Diego, CA in December, 2016). Pearl and Penny would become very close. Whether they are lying next to me on the couch, or up in bed, they were always touching … may be just one of their paws, or they may be back-to-back, or butt-to-butt. They kept each other company, which for Pearl was a good thing, because she wasn’t a fan of being left alone. They loved going on walks together … Pearl trained Penny on which neighbor was always willing to toss an extra biscuit their way.
